Volunteer/Donor Opportunities
- Financial support is most needed and always appreciated
- Chair or serve on a committee, such as Fundraising, Community Building, Childcare, Collaboration, Operations or Staff Recruitment
- Speak at meetings of organizations or other groups about Casa Esperanza
- Host a coffee, luncheon, or party where information about Casa Esperanza may be shared and volunteers may be recruited
- Identify and organize speaking opportunities
- Donate and/or procure silent and live auction items for the Hearts of Hope Event to be held in September 2021
- Donate and/or secure items, such as, furniture, clothing, miscellaneous household items, etc. and temporary and long-term storage facilities
The following volunteer opportunities would be appreciated once Casa Esperanza is in operation:
- Prepare a meal for all residents of Casa Esperanza
- Plan and offer special activities for families, such birthday parties, holiday parties and other events
- Provide mentoring services to the residents and their families
- Provide transportation services
- Offer services for residents for which you have specialized training:
- Financial training
- Counseling
- Public relations
- Tutoring
- Job hunting techniques and interview skills
- Hairstyling, manicuring and cosmetics
